Mark Sawdon, Founder/CEO
Mark Sawdon is a practicing Paramedic for King County Medic One in the Seattle, Washington area and has over 20 years of experience in the Fire and EMS service. Starting as a volunteer firefighter, Mark discovered a passion for trying to make a difference in people’s lives and has been working full time in EMS since 2004. He has been married for 17 years, has two teenage sons and is an American Heart Association Instructor in many disciplines , as well as an adjunct faculty member at Everett Community College.
David Ackland, Instructor
Dave has been involved in pre-hospital medicine for almost 30 years. He started his career with Shepard Ambulance in 1988. At that time, he was also a volunteer firefighter with KCFD #45. In the spring of 1995 he was hired by King County Medic One. He has been an instructor with the AHA for 15 years, currently teach ACLS, PALS and CPR.
Dani DeVos, Instructor
Dani is a firefighter/paramedic in Snohomish County with 10 years of experience in public service and 8 years of experience teaching CPR. She loves instructing because it inspires her to work harder and holds her accountable to remembering medical infortmation. When she isn't working, she likes traveling, playing softball, and spending time with her friends and family.
Joshua Peeples, Operations Manager
Josh is a proud graduate of UW/HMC Michael K Copass: Paramedic Training Program and has over 15 years of experience as a Fire & EMS Instructor. He currently is working as a FF/Paramedic serving the greater NE King County area.
Tyler Irwin, Digital Media Coordinator
Tyler Irwin graduated from Western Washington University in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Art in Marketing and a Sociology Minor. Using his knowledge of business strategy and passion for design, he puts together and executes the digital media content, campaigns, and schedules put out by EME.
